Every slip, every truck
More litres than the tank holds, the same slip handed in twice, a fill booked to the wrong truck: at N$27.86 a litre, these add up fast and are hard to see at month end. Prices are set by the Ministry of Industries, Mines and Energy. The Ministry announces new prices early each month, taking effect on the first Wednesday; the next change is expected from Wednesday 4 November 2026.
It depends on the truck, the load and the road. Loaded long-haul trucks often run between about 2 and 3 km per litre, so a truck doing 8,000 km a month at 2.5 km per litre uses about 3,200 litres. The calculator on this page works it out for your fleet at this month's price.
