Sectors

The paperwork between the work and getting paid.

We research a sector's paperwork before we build anything for it. Here is what we found, and what we are building.

Medical, dental and allied practices

Every patient's file, kept for years

Doctors, dentists, optometrists and physios keep each patient's record for at least six years after the last visit, and a child's until they turn 21. In a long-running practice that is a room of paper, a walk to the shelves for every patient, and a front desk that retypes forms, chases recalls and resubmits claims.

Powered by Alpecca for practices: old patient files scanned at your practice and filed to the right patient in your software, and a front desk that runs itself. R30 a patient file. For practices · five 2-minute demos · your 12-month forecast.

Distribution and wholesale

One paper loop, every day

Order, pick, deliver, sign, then check, invoice, credit and file. Distributors pay POD, debrief and debtors clerks to match, scan, retype and chase that paper, and those roles are advertised constantly.

Construction

Every contractor's file, every 30 days

Principal contractors audit each contractor's health and safety file at least every 30 days, and every subcontractor brings papers that expire on different dates. Missing one stops work on site.

Manufacturing

Records that pass the audit, power that costs less

Food-safety certification needs months of records before the first audit, then yearly and unannounced audits. On time-of-use tariffs a winter peak unit of electricity costs six times an off-peak one.

Logistics and transport

From delivered to invoiced, sooner

Every rand a haulier earns waits for a proof of delivery. Operators pay clerks to collect, scan, check and chase PODs before billing can invoice, while trucks lose money standing at borders.
